I'm very satisfied with the Sony CMT-RB5. I was originally looking for a small inexpensive unit that needed to have an alarm, sleep, and auxiliary inputs. Which, this system has all of plus, digital out. Along with all of that it has support for CD-Text, which is nice if you burn a lot of CDs and mixes. The system also sounds quite well for its size. I was surprised by the quality of the stereo for only being 15x2 max wattage. One thing that I liked about the system is that it doesn’t have a Cassette deck. This was a big plus for me because I don’t use Cassettes and I think they just make the stereo look ugly. Which is another thing Sony did right. The system looks great and is easy to use. They also include a CD prism thing that shows the CD spinning vertical, while useless, its still pretty cool to look at.
