I needed a new center channel and at the time I had a Sony receiver so I decided for some reason to go with a Sony center channel. I was glad to have made that decision. It's a great sounding speaker with crisp highs and solid response from the mid frequency that goes through. The quality you get is well worth the 100 bucks in my opinion. It handles a great amount of power and has the quality of much more expensive speakers. I really push a lot of power through it and being a fan of classical music, I was impressed of the richness at higher volumes. It's a great buy for sure.
