This is a great product. I was looking for a home theater receiver that would last for years. Sure enough i chose sony for its great reliability and superior sound quality.
I received this receiver as a gift and i could not be happier with it so far. Everything about this is easy to use. From the remote to the surround sound setup.
I have very little experience connecting stereo equipment and the instruction book that was included with the receiver made it very easy.
The front of this receiver is deceiving. At first glance, it does not look flashy like the other, higher priced ones. However, with the dolby digital decoders and the DTS, this receiver really gets the job done, all while sounding like an $800 product.
The music quality from the 80 watt per channels is great. All of my music sounds amazing. Whether it is jazz or rock or rap, it is all clear.
I was recently watching the movie Gladiator, and the colloseum scene came on and the high quality sound made me feel like i was in the action.
Again, there is no reason why i would not recommend this receiver. The sound is great, and the price is just right.
