Cons: Anti-shock only works on regular CD's and it is a little expensive

Intro... I bought this at...
I bought this CD player online for 199.99. It ended up being around 220.00 after tax and shipping. I bought this because I wanted to put my mp3 cd burner to use but I also wanted a player that would tag my cd's and know the names.

Looks... Good looking player.
It is silver and has a large easy to read LCD screen. This is very useful because some cd players or actually any audio players have small LCD screen which makes them look cheaper. It also decreases the size of the shown display and it makes the player uncapapble of showing other information such as battery life and weheter ot not the player is charging its batteries. The LCD screen on this player is both bigger and easier to read then most.

This is one of the players where it is a little bit harder to explain how the anti-shock feature works. The electronic anti-shock system that awia uses works well on regular CD's, such as those you would buy in the store. But does not work on CD-R or CD-RW.

Durability...not as durable as some.
Althought this player is somewhat durable it is not that durable compared to other players which are made for the outdoors. What durability it does have makes up for its bulky size.

Sound Quality... Pretty good
The sound quality is rather good... that is if you don't use the supplied headphones. The sound quality that actually comes out of the headphone jack is very good, better than most. It also has bass adjustments. I am a big fan of bass so I usually keep it on full. The sound is clear and doesn't have fuzziness, which is a definate plus.

My Oh So important Epinion!
Well so far I have been very happy with the Aiwa XP-MP3 Portable CD/MP3 Player I have. I really love how much music you can store on one CD, it really amazes me. I really apreciate the good sound quality, and base adjustments. I also very often use the random play mode. I like to listen to the radio alot because you never know what song is going to come on. That is how it is with random play mode! I also like using the program play mode when i am dozing of and falling asleep.

Conclusion
In conclusion I would recommend this to someone who has A cd burner but isn't a big fan of mp3 players. It is versatile and has many options as well as good sound. I think that it was definantly worth 199.99.
