Pros: Good Price. Excellent sound. Easy to use. Easy to install.
Cons: No Twisty knobs
The Bottom Line: overall a great buy and I'd recommend to anybody looking to upgrade their current tape or radio deck for a small price.

I recently got my first car, a '75 buick lesabre... well cars back then didnt have CD players, or tape players... I was lucky it came with FM radio...
So I decided to upgrade it, get a CD player so I could listen to my own music. A short trip to a local best buy and I found the Pioneer... Picked it up for $160 on sale, drove home to install it... (why would I pay for someone to do something I could do myself?)
Hardest part of the process was ripping out my old stereo and getting the new one to fit well physically. Modern cars shouldnt have this problem.
Hooked up the new speakers I got so i could listen to it, amazing... it puts out 50wattsx4channels... that means that you can have 4 separate speakers running of the player, each getting 50 watts... You just have to remember that that 50watts is peak power, the actual power you'll be getting to your speakers on a continual basis is *probably about 20-30watts RMS.
The CD Player also has 1 set of RCA outputs and an amp remote, which means you can buy and hook up an amp to give either your speakers more power or to power subwoofers.
Detachable faceplate is included for security reasons, simply remove and take with you so nobody would want to jack your player, they simply dont work without the faceplate... it also makes it harder for crooks to tell if you have an aftermarket CD player with the faceplate off.
I have no real complaints about the player other than maybe that its somewhat difficult to set all the options, but just read the manual and it tells ya how.
