A very important attribute in a reviewer is spelling. You should really use a spell-checker when responding to or writing reviews. Epinions has a built-in spell checker, although not great on grammatical errors, it still works for spelling.
My review is short for the Aiwa DVD Player, but it is to the point. I am not always positive in my reviews as not all products are all positive. I did say the player is fine for those on a budget as the price is good. Many professional reviewers (Magazines) have much less than great reviews for this player as you can search and find on the internet.
Does your name also reflect where you work. If so, your review is not a fair reflection of the performance of the product. Not all companies make every product great with no short-comings or flaws, including Aiwa, contrary to your reviews. If you want to block me, please do as I will not be greatly saddened. Also, I do own this player.

I noticed something about your opinions..they are really short and NOT discripitve enogh. I really don't think you tested the AIWA XD-DW5 out yourself and I really don't think you own it. If you owned it and had any REAL trouble about it,You would at least mentioned a specific problem with the unit.You also did not say where you purchased it form. please keep the following in mind when you review a product like the one you did:
Don't act so one sided about your review.
Don't be all negative. It really will throw people off in your judgement.
Please don't Diss companies the way you did, manufacturers visit this site and it really makes them lose confidence and trust in thier customers.
Saying negative things won't get you anywhere when it comes to support. You have to be considerate or they will NOT help you with your problems!!!
Your review was very negative and I know you are pretty new here and I welcome you. I just need to see more of a postive review about this DVD player from more people becuase this player has gotten awards and is one of the net's a top selling DVD players. I am one of the most picky audiophiles on this planet and I know quality when I see/hear it and this player is definatley top-notch I own 5 aiwa products and I have always respected aiwa. I Know alot about them and they make some of the best products around. and I never seen a review so negative to them. You should please revise your review. I would appreciate it and If you do what I say, I'll not have you on my block list. if you don't you probably won't be getting support from aiwa for being so nagative.
