So you're thinking to yourself, "Self, when the hell are you going to get in gear and do something. You sit around this house all day."
I suppose you could sit at home with the Sony d-FS18, but then, why not buy a player with 50 CD changer and enormous speakers. What the D-FS18 is good for is the active person.
With a G-shock protection function, this cd player is nearly invincible to the powerful effects that the great earth so deftly throws at it.
The water resistant and sporty D-FS18 electronically pre-records over 1 minute of the cd it is playing, making it nearly impossible for the cd to skip. Trust me when I say this: It's really f@#%@ing hard to make this thing screw up. I tried.
This electronic shock protection allows you to take the occassional jog or walk with the soothing sounds of, i dunno, maybe Yanni and Celine Dion. Go for it buddy.
Along with cd playing, the D-FS18 has am/fm capability for those who prefer the dj's spins to their own...or forgot their extensive cd collection in another dimension. The interface, including 2 stage bass boost (lots of bass in this thing), 6 radio presets, and the usual play buttons with a hold feature (so that pesky index finger twitch won't interrupt your music), makes a slightly annoying little beep every time you push a button. But if you're active, the volume of your breathing should cover that up.
So now when you tell yourself you get too bored to run, you can't say its cuz you hate the sound of passing cars.
