beware!!!! this thing could torch

Pros: sounded good when it was working.nice bass.

Cons: i'm used to components lasting for many years,not just a couple.

i've had this sub about 3 years,and i recently noticed it wasn't working anymore. upon putting my hand on the cooling fins,i thought they were kind of hot.upon taking the unit apart,i found the circuit board badly scorched.after plugging it back in,a relay or something was getting very hot,and i could detect a burning smell.leads me to wonder if i hadn't discovered this ,if i'd have been out of a house due to a fire. cant believe a manufacturer could let this happen.
