Pros: High power; Multiple discs; Easy to Use
Cons: Extremely loud and slow when changing between discs
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone, as long as you can get by the noisy and slow CD changer.

| heim34's Full Review: Panasonic SC-PM11 CD Shelf System |
I recently bought the Panasonic SC-PM11 for my office at work. I wanted something compact that looked sharp with a lot of features---which is exactly what I found in this stereo.
The unit itself has a 5-disc CD player, AM/FM tuner, and single cassette deck. It's high-powered (40 watts/channel) and has very good bass response for something in this price range. The various sound modes really let you tailor your music as well. The included remote was easy to use.
I had the system up and running with all my favorite radio stations 15 minutes after taking it out of the box.
I didn't get a chance to listen to a CD or two in the store (the radio sounded great though, and sold me on the unit). So I was very disappointed when I loaded a few CDs in at work. The disc-changing mechanism is incredibly loud and slow. I tried setting the CDs to RANDOM, but was disgusted with the time it took to switch from one disc to the other. And with the unit at low volumes, the noise made by the changing discs was irritating.
Aside from that, I was very pleased with the Panasonic SC-PM11. It is a good value and of high quality.
