mylauw's Full Review: Polaroid PhotoMax Fun! 320 Digital Camera
I am in the same boat as the rest of you on a budget. I wanted to share pictures of my growing baby online and wanted the immediate feedback that digital cameras give you. I chose the PolaroidMax 320 based on price alone. Boy was it a mistake.
This camera is not made for moving subjects. Do not buy it if you are intending to take pictures of children or animals. You will only get a blur as a result. Being that it takes a few seconds to take the picture - you will always miss the perfect moment. It also needs bright fill light as there is no flash so most indoor pictures do not turn out.
I would not buy this as a gift for a child either as unless the camera is held perfectly still by the photographer the picture also turns out a blur.
The software it comes with is nice for the deal but can be rather confusing to navigate. I only have one serial port so I must unplug my mouse and reboot my computer to download picture. I have to enable mousekeys in order to navigate the software which is very frustrating as it drastically decreases speed of use.
I used the camera a lot the first month but subsequently became so disappointed that I went back the the film and scanner method.
