| buckyrigged's Full Review: Yamaha HTR-5440 5.1 Channels Receiver |
This yamaha reciever is a bargain, I haven't found a reciever that provides quality of sound like Yamaha. When used with yahama components "theatre-like" experience is only the beginning. The display isn't the flashiest of recievers, but hiding behind it is unmatched quality. Yamahas last an unbelievably long time. Several friends have yamahas, oldest being four years, and all have never skipped a beat. Remote is quality as well, all yamahas are nearly identical as far as remotes. Leads to familiarity among all recievers, so when switching to higher model not much is to be learned. Amount of inputs is not lacking either. The only thing to be desired is more digital outputs. This reciever will tie your system together.
