Pros: Price, footprint, clarity.
Cons: None for the price.
The Bottom Line: If you want to save some money, the Sony SSM-F600H might be a better bargain, but for a little more the NS-A200XT delivers good sound at a decent price.

| mgatzke's Full Review: Yamaha NSA-200XT Main / Stereo Speaker |
Like most speakers, these required equalization, although not as much as some I've owned. At first listen they seemed to lack a strong low end but what I noticed after listening to a few favorite CDs is that everything sounded clear and distinguishable. This is a nice change from bottom heavy speakers that do more to color and muddy the sound than deliver it as it was intended. They hold up quite well against other speakers of the same style and price range. I thought the Sony SSM-F600H sounded almost as good, but there were subtle differences that made me lean toward the NS-A200XT. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. If you've got the extra money, the NS-A200XT delivers the extra performance.
