i bought this phone 18 months ago because it got the best reviews on some website and was called the "best 2.4 phone" in the hammacher schlemmer catalogue. 6 months ago a friend with the same phone asked "have your keys started sticking yet" Now over the past month the keys have stopped functioning on the handheld receiver. I am a physician and it may take me up to 2-3 minutes just to DIAL a call in the middle of the night. Either you can't press hard enough to register a number or you press too hard and it registers the number twice. I now have to use my cell phone in the house. This is NOT a isolated flaw, this is a major design screwup. I do not know if current models have corrected this as panansonic has not answered my online inquiries. Needless to say, i will never buy a (made in malaysia) Matsushia Electrical Industrial Co. (aka panasonic) product again. Reviewers with positive reivews, just wait.... YOU'LL BE BACK
