| xyzwyatt's Full Review: 8 In 1 Complete Pet Stain & Odor Remover 32oz |
This product advertises that it eliminates stains on contact with a special Bio-Bac enzyme and contains Pet Block to protect and discourage re-soiling. The enzyme works on urine, vomit, grass, and dirt and can be applied to carpet, upholstery, tile, pet bedding, and other water-safe surfaces.
The company, 8 in 1, offers a money back guarantee so I felt comfortable trying the product. The solution comes in a 32 oz. bottle which is a lot of cleaner. When I first got it I thought that I probably would not need that much. The expiration date is three years out so I have plenty of time to use it. I have used this a lot of times and thankful that I still have more left because I still need it even after my dog has been housebroken.
The reason that I picked this product was because I needed more than carpet cleaner. I used other products that took the stain but my puppy would repeatedly sniff around it and go in the same area again. That was the point that I realized I needed a special formula. I chose this product because it said that it neutralizes and destroys the odors which I found that it does successfully.
I like how the spray bottle is made. The base is thick so never gets knocked over. The neck is grooved for easy handling; the hand naturally conforms around it. I have had so many triggers fail me but this one is strong and durable. This product will likely be going on the floor which will require the bottle to be shooting directly down. I have other carpet cleaners with a tradition shape and the product does not come out when tilted at a 90 degree angle but I feel that this bottle is designed nicely to accomplish the task.
As with any product that goes on a fabric, it is recommended to test for color fading before application. I tested my carpet when I brought the product home because once there is an accident its too late. I have used this on carpet and sofa without any issues.
To apply the product you simply shake the bottle, aim, and saturate the area in question then wait 10 minutes before blotting. We usually mark the area and put the timer on because the area is hard to locate once the solution starts to work. Since dog pee smells horrid I use paper towels to absorb the mess. I have found that if I use the cleaner as instructed I never need to reapply. If I get hasty and try to wipe the product before the 10 minutes have passed it needs to be reapplied. It causes less stress to the carpet and the product works perfectly if it is allowed the full 10 minutes before blotting.
I think the solution smells wonderful. It smells fresh with a hint of citrus. Once the spot is removed I dont notice the smell at all. My dog usually has his nose in all the business that goes on around here but he never stiffs the area that is being cleaned and never revisits the area which is exactly what I was looking for.
This can be found in most stores that sell pet products and retails around $5.00-$8.00. It is a necessity for new puppies learning the housebreaking process and even later will come in handy when there are accidents and unexpected regurgitation. I feel that this effectively and completely eliminated all stains that I have treated and the pet blocker has proven successful with my dog. We are very pleased with the performance of this product and this will continue to be our brand of choice.
