I have many reels in my collection, from the big boys to small caters. I have found that this little giant is by far one of my best!. I use my Penn in the back bays and off-shore, with the right rod I do not think that there is anything ( other than the real big fish 50 lbs > ) that this baby cannot handle. I would not mind having a second one in my rack. By the way I fish the south shore of Long Island, and have used this reel for fluke, striped bass, black fish, blue fish, sea bass, and small tunas. The reason for a second reel is so I will not have to change rods. If you have a Penn reel now you know the quality and eaze to operate and if needed get parts. Don't pass this one by.. Catch'em up & tight lines.
