Oh I am the first one to write an epinion on this. How cool is that.
If you have read previous Epinions on pet related products you'll know that I have three picky kitties. If you didn't, you do now. I gave 9Lives can cat food a try because I had gotten so many buy 1 get 1 free coupons for the four packs. I can't ever pass up on a deal like that. Worse off I donate the unused cans to the local no-kill shelter.
Well two of my three cats liked the shredded pieces. The can is a pop top and comes in its own dish. :). However one can for the two who did like it, I still had leftovers. I like the Whiskas pouches for this reason see my epionion on that. Well from a human point of view it looked apealing and smelled okay for can cat food. I most like the enhanced vitamin formula when hunting for flavors on the Vons grocery shelves.
Chicken & Salmon in Gravy has meat by products, chicken, fish by products, soy protein, soy flour, salmon, wheat flour, modified food starch, steamed bone meal, and much more. From what I have learned its at the begining to look for not all those technical words I can't even pronounce let alone read. 9Lives is a family member of Heinz Pet Products, Newport, KY. 41071 USA Comments or questions should be directed to 1-800-252-7022.
Their food recommendation is one can twice a day for adult cats and larger kittens about the same. I do not recommend can cat food for kittens early on, that is encouraging picky eaters. Learn from my mistakes. 9Lives usually has a smaller one point that you can save and send in to the local shelter which is what I do but the do not have these special points on the enhanced vitamin cans. But I save all upc's and points anyway for coupon exchanges.
