Could be better

Pros: Cheap, fast, easy installation, jumperless settings, good layout.

Cons: SiS chipset is not reliable. Often resets for no reason, overclocking difficulties, no LAN

The Bottom Line: I don't recommend, because of the chipset. It may be attractive, but giving some more box for a Via chipset is not wasting money.

I bought this motherboard because it was the cheapest Asus board that fitted for me. I regret, I think Via chipset would have been better for me. SiS is not reliable and overclocking possibilities are low: when I change the settings, my computer just doesn’t start properly after. Sometimes, when I start windows, the computer just resets for no reason, a problem caused by SiS chipset. In the other hand, it is fast enough, really cheap, good brand (Asus), and an “Ok” sound quality of the sound card. It is also very easy to install, nearly plug-and-play. Easy-to-understand Bios, with simple options, but again, not very reliable.
