The Bottom Line: I recommend this card if you want to watch TV on your PC, do analog output, or are considering getting Tivo.

This was the first time I ever bought a video card with a TV receiver and so far I am very satisfied. Installation was a breeze except that I needed to download updated drivers and software for Win 2000 (not included in package).
I bought this card mainly to do analog out for video editing (having a firwire card already to do digital input). So I love the fact that it has all the analog outputs I need.
So I plugged my cable into the back and did and let the TV setup go and now I can also watch TV on my PC. The picture quality is great and an added bonus is that I can do instant screen captures from TV. I now have Jessica Alba from Dark Angel as my wallpaper.
For those familliar with Tivo the pay service - this card does all Tivo does for free. First - you can pause live TV while you go to the bathroom - no need to wait for the commercial. Also the bundled software includes Guide Plus+ which alows you to download TV listings from the Internet and set up your PC to tape shows to your hard drive. You can search by actor or show title or subject. This is very useful say if you wanted to tape all the Discover Channel shows about crocodiles.
I must admit that I have not put the 3D acceleration to the test. I played with some of the bundled software, but I'm not using this on a PC that I am installing any games on. I do like the fact that you can select the quality that you tape shows. You can save disk space if you only want VHS quality, or you can max out at near DVD quality.
The card itself, and the included cables and adapters are perfect for my needs. What I really like is the bundled TV software.
