I love this card when playing my PC games because it always makes my games look superior to my cousins games on his PC, who uses the Voodoo 4 chipset. The fps in my games are AWESOME and this card has a lot of features that will improve anything that you do on your PC. The card offers a resolution of up to 2048x1536, at 32 bit color which is more than enough for most people because they are just starting to release monitors that can handle these resolution settings. The DDR memory runs very fast and is faster than the SDRAM video card that came with my PC. The features that will appeal to gamers is the TRIPLE frame buffer and the 24 bit Z-Buffer which will make the graphics look extremely smooth. One major advancement over other video cards in the same price range is the ability to support D3D Hardware T&L and it can be upgraded for future monitors. If you buy this card, make sure you download 3DMark2001 from www.madonion.com to test the abilities of your new graphics card. It features ATI's Charisma Engine™ and Pixel Tapestry™ technologies, the industry's BEST DVD playback, and an AGP Universal Bus. The Radeon supports more features of DirectX® 8.0 than any other graphics board on the market.
