Pros: Dual Head, Video Out, DVI connector, Great Performance
Cons: No composite Video Out, Drivers could be better, Poor Technical Support,
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you can solve your own problems or stand waiting for the next driver to fix your problems. Very good dual head features.

| bic2k's Full Review: ATI RADEON 8500, (64 MB) AGP Video Card |
As a first time ATI buyer I wasn't sure what to expect. In the past I had heard about people having problems with drivers. In the more recent future there had been rumors that ATI had better drivers and technical support, which was a factor in my decision to purchase this card.
My first impression after installing the card was that the drivers shouldn't of crashed while installing. My second impression was, "WOW, this card actually does have great acceleration and quality!" Overall the visual quality of this card is very good. I still have day to day problems with the ATI drivers. Technical support has been non existent by email and phone. Many people can get this card and it runs great. Other seem to be plagued with problems. I'd suggest some research one news groups and forums before you buy this card, because some systems have a difficult time running this card. Other wise I think its a great card, I get 90fps stead in quake 3 with the quality way up (in the mod UT2, which happens to be fairly demanding).
