| jcipoll's Full Review: 1718 Digital Answering Machine |
For an answering machine to be useful, it must be able to record people's messages well enough that you can understand them. The digital message recording on this model is very primitive, to the point where you can't recognize people's voices and often can't understand their words.
Other than sound quality, I guess it's not bad, but that doesn't really matter. It seems to answer calls every time. The features are a little inconvenient to use, and the digital volume control keeps resetting so you can't keep it on the volume you want.
I strongly advise against buying this model; it's useless if you can't understand your messages.
