| alohaspirit's Full Review: AT&T 8925 Tilt Smartphone |
AT&T and Cingular are companies I have few kind words for. I have been a customer for years, only because their service works best in the areas where I use cellular service. This past February, I had to give up my beloved Nokia phone because it no longer would work on their updated system. I wanted internet access, so I splurged and paid $400 for the Tilt smartphone.
I had a terrible time accessing the internet. At the beginning, I kept hearing "hang in there, 3G will be here soon and it will make all the difference." Well, 3G is here now; and it is slow slow slow when I use the internet.
The phone is awkward to hold, guess most smartphones are. I was told to be sure to buy a durable case for the phone, since if I dropped it I'd be shelling out another $400.
After dropping the phone several times (like I said, it is awkward to hold) I was glad I bought the durable case.
If you are going to use the keyboard, then the TILT function will be appreciated.
Other than that, there is little that impresses me with this phone. I would not buy it again. I would not recommend it to others.
