Features I purchased this phone as a replacement to my Treo. The features that really caught my eye were the Wifi and Gps. After getting the phone and using it, Ive found that this phone can do everything. A year later and Im still finding new things I can do with it.
Responsive & Quick Wifi connectivity is great, Gps works amazingly, better than my laptop gps, and the phone is very responsive, never really slow or pausing like my treo was.
Total Compatability I've synced the phone with Windows, Linux, & Mac OS X as a modem, and used 3G access. Ive actually built entire websites using my phone as a modem to send files to my server.
Software The more I look online the more applications I find to install. Ive installed network security tools on my phone, and can actually scan networks for infected machines, open access points, traffic caused by viruses, lookup machines by ip or hostname, all from my phone. Its almost a tool more than a phone.
GPS Google maps is a lifesaver with the GPS & 3G on this phone, it can be used to get traffic reports, lookup phone numbers and addresses, get directions from your current gps location, you can dial from the map of locations, and it tracks your position in real time, even with satellite graphics if you enable them on a 3G connection.
Overall Fantastic I will say that this is by far the best phone Ive ever owned, its by far the best PDA I've ever owned, and actually allows me to leave my laptop at home allot of the time since I have full internet & email.
I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a PDA/Phone solution. Alot of people love thier Iphones, but if you want a phone that does alot, and you dont really care that much about the music feature, (this phone can do movies and music too) then I would recommend this phone.
