What a terrific tale! A midsummer night's dream is my favorite shakespeare play ever. It takes place in Italy I believe, and the story is wonderful. There are three or four conflicts going on at once, and I'll try to explain them. 1) The girl getting married hates the groom
2) The brides best friend loves the groom 3) The bride loves another man. 4) Nick Bottom is a lazy old man 5) He is having marital problems. 6) The king and queen of the fairies are having a fight. 7)Puck does not sprinkle the juice from the venus plant on the right persons eyelids. Whew! As you can see there are a lot of conflicts. However, that just adds to the story. If you want to read something you'll laugh about, and enjoy, I suggest a Midsummer Nights Dream. Take it from someone who generally hates Shakespeare, this play is not all that bad!
