When it comes to skin care products, I'm usually very picky with what I will put on my face. While it's true that I've tried numerous brands and formulas over the years in an ongoing quest to find the perfect skin care routine (from the cheap drug store brands all the way up to the more tempting expensive department store offerings!), I've finally started wising up a bit. Now I am beginning to believe that less can actually be way more. And if something works, then please don't fix it! Many years ago, I went through an Origins phase and tried just about everything they had at least once. As my skin type went from super oily to combination and now mostly normal to dry, I've gradually skipped from one daily facial cleanser to another. Since I'd used "A Perfect World" products in the past with positive results, why not give one of the newer Origins products a try? So several months ago, I purchased this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" and have been very pleased with the results so far. Read on to find out more about this luxury facial cleanser that gently yet deep cleanses the skin without the use of harsh ingredients.
~~~The Skin Care Product~~~
Since pollution is sadly a fact of life in our modernized world, more and more products like this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" are popping up on both drug store and department store shelves. According to product advertising found on the side of the bottle: "This perfect foaming face wash is formulated with nature's rare Silver Tip White Tea. In a pre-emptive sweep, dirt-grabbing minerals combined with the gentle, skin-compatible cleansing action of Palm, Coconut and Oats Amino Acid reach deep to help detoxify and free skin of harmful, free radical-releasing impurities before they settle down and cause skin-aging oxidation, deterioration, dehydration and even some forms of irritation. Skin is perfectly clean, smoothed and refreshed." Since it is best for dry/combination skin, it didn't take much to tempt me into trying this face wash at least once. The texture is creamy and almost lotion-like so it feels very soothing and calming when I use it daily in the shower. It's shiny and pale orange in color and smells just like the other "A Perfect World" products I've tried such as the "Skin Guardian" for the face as well as the eyes: very fruity and citrus-like in a subtle versus overpowering manner. No doubt these products are intended to be used together, but this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" is actually one of the few remaining Origins products that I still currently use on a regular basis.
~~~Price & Availability~~~
I do the majority of my beauty product shopping online, so I purchased my rather plain 5 ounce (150ml) white squeeze-type bottle of this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" at the Origins website. Currently, they are offering free shipping on orders of $50 or more, so this is one of the many types of deals that I hold out for. Since I'm still on their mailing list, I get frequent emails from them and they happened to be featuring this face wash at the time. The price was a hefty $20, but past experience has taught me that it only takes a tiny dab of concentrated Origins cleansers to do the job well. So since a little bit goes a long way, I can get several months of daily uses out of one bottle before time to buy more. For those that prefer purchasing their beauty products in person, many of the finer department stores such as Dillards carry this Earth and animal friendly brand. To me, the only con I can think of is the outer, unnecessary cardboard box that this facial cleanser comes packaged inside. This is just one more wasteful thing that I end up throwing away. The white plastic bottle with army green colored writing on it is recyclable, however. So for those concerned about environmental issues such as using natural, plant based ingredients instead of harsh chemicals, I'd easily recommend this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" to remove impurities from the skin.

The directions for use are as follows: "Squeeze small amount into palms. Activate with a splash of warm water to create a lush lather. Massage over skin. Rinse thoroughly. Follow immediately with "A Perfect World White Tea" regimen to safeguard skin from future damage. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist Tested. I prefer using this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" in the shower verses at the sink for many reasons. First, all I have to do is open the round, flip top lid, squeeze out a pea-sized amount, and swirl it onto my wet face with my fingers to product a light lather. I like that the opening is located at the bottom of the tube so that it rests upright with the product all ready for dispensing even when the package is almost empty. Who has time to wait for those last few drops to finally make their way out? Second, the fresh and pleasing scent is soothing to the senses without being too strong and/or perfume like. I feel oh so slightly pampered each time I use it! And third, the lather rinses clean away in just seconds as I'm putting my face under the shower stream verses trying to wipe it off with a washcloth at the sink. While I use a different product to remove my make-up at night, this face wash is an excellent choice if you simply want deep clean skin without any unwanted side effects such as tightness, dryness, or irritation. Because it feels so rich and creamy, however, I doubt this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" would be the best choice for acne-prone skin.
~~~Overall Recommendation~~~
Chances are that this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" would make an excellent gift for that special friend, family member, or even yourself! My Mom recently visited us a few weeks ago and she commented several times on how much she enjoyed using the face wash I had in my shower. Note to self: jot stuff like this down for future reference when special holidays such as birthdays, Mother's Day, and Christmas roll around :-) I sweat more than average while running and even just doing housework, so even though this initially feels like a luxurious and pampering skin care product, it seriously deep cleans at the same time so that your face feels refreshed and free of dirt and grime. So give this "Origins A Perfect World Deep Cleanser With White Tea" a shot if you, too, are just as picky and concerned about what you will and won't put on your face as I am.
