Pros:DURABLE, FUNCTIONAL, ATTRACTIVE
The Bottom Line: I like the chunky barrel, it is easier for my small arthritic hand to grasp.
A.T. Cross™ Tech 3 Multifunction Pen Frosty Pink measuring 0.35 x 5.35 inches, with Chrome Plated Appointments provides possibility for writing using fine point, red ink, black ink and even .05mm pencil, including an eraser and 5 leads in the pen under the tapering, threaded top cap, all in one very small and easy to use well balanced writing utensil. The Tech 3 is a handy pen for tucking into a small handbag. Liquid glaze finish adds an extra dash of sparkle élan to the surface rosy hue.
While I prefer Made in theUSA, I have found this product ofJapanretains the quality I have come to expect from A.T. Cross. Trendy, well-designed, robust and very serviceable, my pen gets a good bit of usage.
I like this manufacturer’s products; this versatile ball point is handy for using at my Osage County First Grade Language Arts instructional area or my work area in the rear of the classroom as Little Learners come for their daily conference.
The Continuous twist mechanism provides dandy alternatives for smooth, multipurpose, color filled stars or WOW in multi hued letters with a quick rotation and is so much easier on my small, arthritic hand than trying to turn forward and then back. Continuous twist means just turn until the needed color, or lead is ready to use. I find useful that the twist can be locked in an off position assuring that rotation does not take place in mid stroke.
Osage County First Grade Little Learners are delighted with the multi tone possibilities.
I find I can keep track of the one pen, in my pocket when not in my hand than I can different pens and pencil singles.
I like the chunky barrel, it is easier for my small arthritic hand to grasp. Ink cartridges are not so large as are some standard pens, however, I do not need to replace too often. Pen ink and pencil lead are refillable. Refills and lead are available from a diversity of online sites, as well as on shelves in many walk in stores. I generally shop the local Staples for refills, now and again we travel a few miles towardTulsaand have found refills available at Office Max, I’m not certain if they are carried at Office Depot.
Note : I have found that Staedtler brand multi-action ball point refills work well should Cross refills not be available. As a rule I do try to buy several refills at a time, and try not to let my supply run out completely before looking for more.
Cross pens have 150 + years of beauty, design cleverness blended with jewelry-quality workmanship to continue to re-invent writing instruments meant to excite, please, and add appeal to the item and the hand holding it.
I like A.T. Cross goods; products are found on the shelves of fine shops world wide where the consumer gift market offers writing instruments, timepieces, and personal accessories for the consumer as well as boutique-quality gift packaged items for business world acknowledgment programs.
While this pen is not a breast cancer awareness product per se, the rosy hue causes those who see it to immediately think breast cancer awareness, so it serves the purpose. All in all a dandy pen.
Happy to recommend A.T. Cross™ Tech 3 Multifunction Pen Pink with Chrome Plated Appointments.
