This Space Hog is a WASTE of Money!
Written: May 24 '05
Pros:Gets you off the floor.
Cons:Just another gimmic.
The Bottom Line: Bulky, Heavy, Awkward, Waste of Money, Use the floor with a yoga mat.
I bought this when it first came out. Suckered by the "Guarentee" and promise of the "Free In Home Trail." I had recently went from 150 pounds to 120 pounds. A size 14 to a size 4! But my pooch just wouldn't get flat after having 2 kids.
In my opinion, the only thing it is good for is stretching one's back. But the bar in the middle can be uncomfortable on the back. When performed correctly, you can feel a slight burn in the ab area. But save the $100 and learn how to do sit-ups and properly performed crunches, they do better. My 6'1" husband was too long to properly use the machine. It's bulkly and HEAVY. I thought it would be fun while the kids were playing in the back yard to bring out the lounger and be able to do some crunches and lounge in between sets. But because it was awkward to fold and carry and the fact that it was extremely heavy, that never happened. I returned it, less shipping and handling. So the 30 days cost me $14.99. But I'm happy I returned it, I have enough clothes hangers in my bedroom.
