I have a waterbed and yes this may be under a different type of bed but its still from the same company.
To make a long story short, My experience with this company,"Dormia" has been negative.
The softsided waterbed I purchased in 2001 has only lasted 7 years. I paid $700 shipped for it. Within the first 3 years the bedliner cracked.
Then after the filter collapsed. Now this year, in its 7 year, the mattress case has mold filled in it. And also the valve spout has cracked which means the bladder bag needs to be replaced as it now leaks.
Stay away from Dormia/ABed products. If youre like me and you dont like to waste money or have 700 dollars to waste do not buy from this company.
Their warranties are of no help. They only cover the 4 seams on the bladder bag of the waterbed. That is all. The rest is up to you to pay for.
Mold is a health hazard which I told Andrew Brawford, the vice president of Dormia, and I placed several calls to him without a return call. He said he would help me out. But hasnt. Its only costing me money to replace the moldy mattress case, cracked bedliner, and now a leaking bladder bag(valve spout cracked).
I finally received a phone call back after I filed a complaint with the consumer protection agency. Only to hear its going to cost me money after shelling out $700 for the bed with a 20 year warranty.
So if you have time and money to waste then buy from this company. If you dont then steer clear. Their quality is poor and their warranties are a joke.
