The Bottom Line: It's quite a catchy trend now throughout NY. Very "Sex in the City" for either Gender. Try it mixed with club soda, shake it up and forget your troubles.
We all know that Vodka seeps through your pores and leads you to inheriting a stench after several drinks. It also does not go down to well, ripping down your throat as you drink it.
Absolut Vanilla does not do this.
I just had to try ABSOLUT Vanilla because the ads for it are posted all over NYC. In the subways, outside shopping areas, on phone booths.. Another masterpiece by Andy Warhol stands tall.

This is a fine addition to the bunch, after all, Vanilla Stoli has been out for quite some time. Let me just tell you candy fans that this is Cotton Candy in a bottle. I am not a vodka drinker, hate the straight up taste, but it has now been my choice of hard liquor since I first tried it a few weeks ago. The taste goes like this, similar to regular Absolut, there is the Vodka taste. It goes down smooth and leaves a crisp splash of vanilla with every sip. The Vanilla flavor is not a syrup or cheap additive. Real Vanilla flavor, like a vanilla bean (or like Haagen Daaz Vanilla) is what you get, the taste and smell is not overwhelming, and the aftertaste is minor. It just goes down very smooth.
The mixer of Choice is Vanilla and Club Soda. Candy water.
If you are looking for a new drink, try it! Stoli Vanilla works well too (which has been around longer that the Absolut version), But AV is so much better.

Mix a shot of Absolut Vanilla
1/2 Part Root Beer (1/2 cup)
1 Scoop of Vanilla or Chocolate (or both) Ice Cream
(Great summer drink)
--ORANGE CREAMSICLE--
Shot of Absolut Vanilla
3 Parts of Orange Juice (3/4 cup)
*Add Vanilla Ice Cream if you wish
Keep your bottle cold belly down in the fridge for at least three hours before enjoying!
