The Acer AL2216WBD monitor is the best 22'' monitor on the market today when you factor in price and performance. I have owned this beautiful monitor for just over 3 months now so I feel that I have a good right to place a non bias review. I ordered this product from newegg.com for $219 after shipping without rebates. I have heard of this monitor being prices at or below $200, however they usually require rebates. this monitor does have its flaws however, the 700:1 contrast ratio means that it isn’t the brightest of monitors, so if you are going to be doing a lot of graphic design, I would definetly invest more money and get at least 1000:1 contrast ratio. I personally am a gamer, as a system builder so I do have experience with the majority of computer products, and I believe that for the average user this is the best deal by far. Make sure you watch for sales on this item, they seem to come along quite often on newegg.com and tigerdirect.com. There is absolutely no ghosting, no blur, and no dead pixels on mine. It also is compatible with most wall mounts and the stand is very sturdy. this monitor is available at quite a few retail stores, so i would recommend looking there as well to get a better idea at what this monitor will provide you with.
