| Steifel's Full Review: AcerView 77E 17 inch CRT Monitor |
I purchased this monitor six months ago, and have been quite satisfied with it. I enjoy playing a multitude of games and this monitor has worked great for that purpose. While working on my writing I don't have to squint my eyes to read everything. These qualities can be assumed, but what are the other benefits and disadvantages?
From front to back you are going to need 16" of space to compensate for it's length. Auto-calibration of the screen takes approximately five seconds to complete and will restore all default monitor settings. This is achieved quickly by pressing one of the five buttons clearly labeled on the front of the monitor. On the whole, this is a great monitor for anyone who works within average boundaries. Spend the extra money if you need advanced graphics displays, or especially a more compressed setup. I am not an "expert" in computer systems. This has simply been an opinion from a satisfied man, who like most of us, deals with computers in one way or another.
