Portable little netbook

Pros:- small, lightweight
- full-featured
- decent performance for casual or business use.
Cons:- cramped keyboard
 - changing the hard drive is way harder than it should be
The Bottom Line: Given the cramped keyboard and the fact that the motherboard must be removed to upgrade the hard drive, I would have to recommend choosing something else.

I'll start with the good. The things that attracted me to this laptop enough to purchase it were its low price point, portability, and its rich feature set. Since the inexpensiveness is self-evident, I'll simply touch on the other two, then I'll cover the negatives.

The portability of this laptop is fantastic. It is lightweight, and small enough to unobtrusively fit into a backpack or briefcase. The small size of this laptop is also useful for whipping it out and using it places where space is limited.

In terms of performance and ports, this laptop presents a pretty impressive offering: 3 usb ports, 2 flash card ports, cat6 ethernet (backwards compatible with cat5, of course), and rsa audio out. The atom processor and intel integrated graphics are good enough for casual use, but certainly insufficient for hardcore gamers, as you would expect.

Now for the drawbacks:

After owning this laptop for awhile, I found some things that I wish I knew before I purchased it. In particular, the keyboard, and the upgradability.

The keyboard is small. You would expect that the keyboard would be small, since this is a netbook. However, for some reason, I didn't expect it to be such an issue. With my large hands, typing on this keyboard causes strain, and is not pleasant for me.

In terms of upgradability, the RAM and the battery can be changed out quite easily. However, crucially, in order to upgrade the hard drive, the motherboard must be removed! I have never encountered this in a laptop before; I just assumed it would have a little port for upgrading the hard drive like every other laptop I've ever used. You should not have to gut your computer to upgrade the hard drive.
