Pros: Cannot feel them.Does not dry out on my eye.Flexible and comfortable.
Cons: I wish it was cheaper (but it's worth the price)
I am fairly new to contacts, and have only been wearing them for a few months now. I have stuck with the same brand since I have had another good experience with Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear prior to using this product. I was not dissatisfied with the Acuvue Advance, but the contacts tended to dry out at the end of the day and get a bit blurry, which re-wetting didn't seem to help all of the time. So, I went back to my eyedoctor, and tried these as samples. The difference was immediate, and I was shocked.
With the Acuvue Oasys, not only did I not feel the contacts at all, even immediately after putting them in, during the day my contacts did not shift, dry out, or become blurry. I even fell asleep with them on one night, and my eyes were not irritated in the slighest when I woke up.
These contacts come in little idividual packages, with liquid to keep them moist. They are a little bit bigger than the contacts I have used before, which sounds odd, but I see it. Maybe this is what keeps them from shifting in my eyes. These stay wet all day for me, but if I did have a problem with dryness, I am sure a few eye drops would take care of the solution. The contacts are disposable, flexible, and are only worn for two weeks. Nothing like the contacts from back in the 80s!
I love these contacts, and do see myself wearing these and only theze for as long as I wear contacts. It is certainly worth the price you pay in my opinion.
