Are you a golfer looking for more distance, or better accuracy? I believe most of mid handicappers really benefit from a combination of both. Read carefully and learn 10 reason why this set of Adams GT Irons could very well be the best golf buy for you in decades. I played them just once and fell in love with them, because the results are absolutely amazing.
The shafts I used are regular flex, regular lie.
1.- UNPARALLELED SOFT FEEL: The shaft is made from steel AND graphite, giving you the power and precision of steel, combined with the vibration dampening and delicious feedback from graphite. While this feature does not kill all the feedback to your hands, it will eliminate all the unwanted vibration caused by mis-hits. This shaft is as revolutionary as it is effective and beneficial for your game. My hands were not tired at all after 4 hours!
2.- EXTRA DISTANCE: Any club that makes me gain 5 to 10 extra yards is always welcome. I also noticed that this gain is possible without additional effort. The heads feel a little heavy, but at the end this allows you to have better perception and control over the swing. It is VERY easy to hit long with these clubs.
3.- LONG IRONS ARE FUN TO HIT. If you are like me, taking a gamble every time you pick up a 3, 4 or 5 iron, be assured that the GTīs will change the way you feel about using long irons. They get the ball airbrne frightfully easy, so you better use less club that you usually do.
4.- PIN-POINT ACCURACY. If your set up is right, every ball you hit using the GTs will fly directly towards the point you were aligned. These clubs may not be excessively forgiving, but instead offer lots of prevention on mis- hits. I did not stray off fairways or greens for 15 straight holes. For me this is absolutely amazing!
5.- SHORT GAME MARVELS: When was the last time you picked up a club for a shot inside 80 yds. and were absolutely confident that your ball would end less than 4 ft. from the flag? GTīs short irons are extremely reliable, they almost prevent you from hitting FAT approach shots. Swing is smooth, and contact is always crisp and firm. I like clubs that let you know that you have control over the ball, not vice-versa.
6.- BIG SWEETSPOT: I bet that you have never played irons with such ample sweetspots. Or at least thatīs how they feel! Fom the 3 iron to the PW, this is one of the first thing you will notice on the GTīs: hitting GOOD balls becomes more frequent!
7.- MAKE SHOTS FROM HEAVY ROUGH: How would you like to put your 160 yds. shot from DEEP rough within 3 ft, from the flag? This kind of performance is now possible to me thanks to the GTīs. I like their ability to cut trough tall grass like a breeze. Because they lift the ball extremely easy, now you can actually think about slamming your shot in the green , rather than just "get it out of trouble".
8.- TIGHT LIES: No wonder they are called this way. No other club Iīve ever used is more efficient and easy to use from hard and tight surfaces as the GT. The sole is not "bouncy", it reminded me a lot of my Cleveland wedges. The shaft becomes absolutely amazing on this situations: no sting on your hands, no jitters. I have never felt such confidence on shots from tight lies before.
9.- PRICE: Here in my town, you can get a new set of GTīs for $700 USD. Nevertheless, I went into www.golfclubexchange.com and found several offers of NEW clubs for no more than $500 USD. That is almost 1/3 of what Callaways and Pingīs cost around here! For a set of clubs that offer such "in your face" benefits, I doubt you can find better values on the market.
10.- THE JOY OF PLAYING BETTER GOLF: I have never enjoyed golf this much after playing the Adams GTīs. The confidence this clubs add to your game is simply amazing. When you begin hitting long, straigh shots towards your target, shot after shot...it feels like nothing else!
I played my first CONSECUTIVE "back nine" rounds on par using the ADAMS GTīs. Now , for the first time in my short golfing life, I feel like my handicap can fall to a single digit very soon. This clubs will be enjoyed by high handicappers and seasoned, low handicap veterans alike.
