| hackersix16's Full Review: Adidas Accelerator Liga |
About a year ago I was getting ready to graduate from high school and go to college. Unlike most high school athletes, I was one of the few who was being recruited to continue play after high school. With light of that, I made a conscious effort to get a pair of boots that would suit my needs on the field. I did a great bit of research and asked around for the opinions of other players who wore specific brands to see which cleat would suit me best. After internet sites, personal opinions of other players, shoe testing, and price comparison I decided to make an investment and buy the Adidas Accelerator Liga molded cleats. Through tests I conducted myself I found the cleats to be very comfortable and have a great grip on any type of field condition. I am not saying that these cleats will keep you from slipping when playing in the mud, but I am saying that they will give you better control and better grip to help prevent you from always slipping. There is another factor that I found out when testing the shoes, and that is that they have excellent support on the toes for those unexpected toe balls soccer players occasionally kick. The construction of the shoes is solid, giving players lasting use throughout the seasons. Yes the price may be high for more recreational soccer players but trust me it is money well spent. For the durability and dependability of the cleats $110 is a steal. Compared to the supplier of the US national team, Adidas Accelerator kick the Nike cleats to a distant fourth with Diadora detachable cleats coming in second and Adidas Predators coming in third. Overall I give the new Accelerators a thumbs up on all tests and in overall use.
