| runningdan's Full Review: Adidas ClimaCool Running Shoe |
Ever since I started running a four or five years ago, I've stuck almost completely to Adidas shoes. I've always been hard on my shoes, and every time I decided to go with a new balance or asics shoe I ended up being sorry. Either the upper tears, or the bottom pulls off the shoe. This has never happened with any of my Adidas shoes. So when my last pair of running shoes, also Adidas, started falling apart after running on them every day for 6 months, there was no question to me what brand shoe I was going to buy. I had seen these ClimaCool shoes and was very interested.
When I first tried them on, the shoes fit like a glove.... for my foot. The fit was snug, without my heels slipping, but didn't pinch anyway. The shoe is perfect for anyone with very thin feet. What I really liked about this shoe, though, was how light they felt, and they did seem to keep my feet exceptionally cool.
After running in these shoes every day for the past 5 months, I can say that I couldn't be happier about these shoes. Being kinda insane about my running, rain or shine, I have a tendency to soak these shoes somewhat regularly. Compared to the conventional leather running shoes, which can take more than a day to dry, the mesh on these shoes dries out in a matter of hours. The shoes are starting to show some signs of wear, but are still very solid. If you're serious about running, do yourself a favor and buy a pair of these. They are well worth the money
