| armymac03's Full Review: Adidas Copa Mundial Soccer Shoes |
My opinion on the Copa Mundial is based on 17 solid years of the game, five of which were supported by the aforementioned boot. I have worn many different brands and styles throughout the years and I am a firm believer that the Copa Mundial is the superior shoe. The reasons behind my endorsement include versatility, dependability, comfort, and cost.
I have played the full gamut of positions that the sport has to offer. The physical characteristics cater well to the needs of every position. I feel that the cleat was originally designed with offenders in mind, the narrow fit and flexible mold assure that a great range of movement and control are available to the player. In addition, the striking capabilities are amazing, and on this note the defender have a slight advantage with regards to place kicking. The sleek design of the shoe allows for controlled inside and outside sole shots but a broad toe and upper is an optimal pitch for powerful strikes.
The Copa series is a perfect match for any level of play in any part of the world. The shoe is designed for play during periods of good weather. But experience has shown that when a minimal amount of care is applied, these shoes can play in any conditions and last upwards of two years of continuous outdoor play. The sort of care I am referring to is just the infrequent application of leather moisturizer and sealant and even more simple is the storing of the shoes in a dry and cool place.
As previously mentioned, all players will find the Copa Mundial a great investment. A good parallel can be made with running shoes. Anyone who has run before knows that a bad pair of running shoes will not only decrease performance but also bring injury upon the runner. Soccer cleats are no different. The kangaroo leather is soft and over a short period of time conforms to the curvatures of your feet. The benefits of this are staggering; no blisters, more control, and just downright comfortable. On the same token, the design of the cleat is geared towards the serious player who with the pre-requisite abilities can take their game to the next level.
My most recent pair of Copa Mundial was purchased for seventy dollars on Ebay. More and more sports companies are selling their merchandise on the Internet through online bidding sites. I feel that I got pretty lucky, In the past I have paid 95 - 120 dollars for the exact same pair of cleats. But the bottom line is that these boots are worth the investment.
