| healdkw's Full Review: Adidas Gazelle |
I haven't owned a pair of Gazelle's in five years. I first saw these shoes and they looked sweet! They come in several different colors, bright red being my personal favorite. And actual the first time I ever played ball with these shoes the touch was nice. The fit tight to your foot, and will stretch with your feet.
But don't let first impressions fool you. This shoe is strictly for style, not for actual play. I realize that I said the touch was nice, and it is, but these shoes will far apart in a few games if used for competition. The soles quickly wear down and you will have no grip on any surface. Also the suede will begin to separate from the sole itself. Basically i was eventually forced to use duct tape to keep the shoes together!
So needless to say these shoes do not work for any kind of soccer. They are more for after your match to impress everyone with your keen sense of style! I must admit they are comfy, but look elsewhere if you want to have shoes that you use on the indoor turf.
