Pros: Durable, lightweight, affordable
Cons: Lack of comfort, support, and stability...its in indoor soccer shoe
The Bottom Line: Made specifically for indoor soccer. Dont expect it to have much support, comfort, or stability. Good shoe for indoor soccer play though.

| qbert381's Full Review: Adidas Samba Classic |
Ahhh...the Adidas Samba. This is probably the shoe, that if I were to pick one out that defines soccer would be it. Out of any shoe, this is the one most often worn. And with good reason...although it retails for $50 usually, you can more often then not, find a pair for cheaper; I paid $30 for mine. The shoe itself is not a horrible shoe. I have always been a big fan of Adidas, and the products that they put out. However when buying this shoe remember a few things. The first thing to remember is that this is an indoor shoe. This shoe has been built lightweight and is not going to have the kind of comfort and support that a running shoe would have. In fact, the only thing this shoe does for you is protect your foot, but as far as support goes, you are just as good going without any shoes. So lets look at this shoe now from the indoor soccer players perspective. The first thing that I see as a positive about this shoe is that it is lightweight. This is a plus, because you dont want to be held down at all in a fast pace game such as indoor. On the negative side of things, this shoe does not have a whole lot of grip. If it is grip that you want, then go with the Adidas Supernova. The thing is with that shoe though, is that it wears down within a season or two. This leads me to my next point about the Samba. This shoe last for a long time. As long as you dont grow out of them, and they endure normal wear, they will last you a good while. I have personally had mine now for about 6 or 7 seasons of play, plus I wear them outside of games as well. Now, granted, they have taken a beating and are worn down, but they are still with me, and I still use them. Overall this a good soccer shoe that will last you your money's worth. You just have to find out what your needs are in a soccer shoe, or just buying a shoe in general and then you need to figure out whether or not the Samba will fit those needs. This may not be the best shoe for your needs, it is the most popular, but is not necesarily the best for what you need.
