These shoes are described as indoor soccer shoes, but they are great sneakers for everyday wear! They are very light, and extremely comfortable. The leather breaks in and conforms to your foot, making this sneaker as comfortable as a slipper. I tied mine once when I got them, and have slipped them on and off since.
The Samba is a durable shoe, lasting at least a year of constant use before the bottoms wear down. They are very cheap too. I've never paid over $50 for them!
In five years, I have owned about three pairs of Sambas. They are my fall back sneaker. I wear them when going out to the bar, or playing whiffle ball in the street. They look good, and give you enough support to be used as a light athletic shoe. One time, I forgot that I had to go to a dressy function for work, so I ran down the block, bought a nice pair of pants and a shirt and tie at the Gap, and then colored the white stripes of my Sambas black with a marker. It wasn't the classiest thing I'd ever done, but no one noticed, and I was walking in comfort while everyone else was clomping around in heavy shoes.
Sambas are great shoes! They look great, and you can wear them almost anywhere, plus, you can't beat the price for what you are getting!!!
