The product is Advil Liqui-Gels. Each pill is made up of 200mg of Ibuprofen used for aches related to the head, mouth(teeth), muscles and back. Advil can also be used for cases of the common cold and minor arthritis pain. The manufacturer's recommended dosage is 1 capsule per 4 to 6 hours for adults and children over 12. In my unprofessional opinion as an adult, I have taken 2 pills at once when I have greater than moderate pain and I have suffered no side effects as a result. As with any medication, please keep out of the reach of children at all times.
We often keep Advil in our home and one day I bought the liqui-Gels on accident. I was quite upset as I didn't realize this until I got home to unpack the groceries. It is a good thing that I'm lazy and didn't take them back. My headache vanished twice as fast taking the Liqui-Gels as oppose to the regular Advil. In addition, the regular Advil always gave me very minor stomach pains, but the Liqui-Gels didn't give this problem at all.
I'm not sure if it was by coincidence, but the Liqui-Gels also helped me when I had the flu. We had nothing else in the house for me to take, so I took the Liqui-Gels and my fever actually came down and I began to feel better within an hour or so.
I would suggest if you regularly take Advil to give the Liqui-Gels a try because they are quite good. I would even go so far to say that they are phenomenal.
The only drawback to the Liqui-Gels as oppose to the regular Advil is that they are larger pills and may be harder to swallow for people who have difficulty taking pills. Also, the regular Advil tastes better before you swallow it with that candy-coated shell that it has. But if that is your only hang-up, then I would suggest you dip your Liqui-Gels in sugar before taking them.
