So there I was, in Eckerd Pharmacy just a mile away from my house trying to find something that would help stop many different sicknesses that arent major. Luckily, I ran across this new pill called Advil Liqui-Gels.
Why I Chose Advil Liqui-Jels
Advil has always been known to make great medicine. I have always used Advil when I had a stuffy nose, cough, or other pains. I also use Advil for my daughter when shes sick. My wife likes to use them after a rough day at work when she just needs to relax away from a headache.
Advil is also known throughout my family for having low prices and putting many pills in each little box that you buy. I hate opening up a box of Tylenol pills and seeing it half full. Advil fills them to the top.
Uses
Advil Liqui-Gels can be used to treat:
~Headache
~Common Cold
~Toothache
~Muscular Aches
~Backache
~Minor Arthritis Pains
~Cramps
Advil Liqui-Gels also help reduce fever.
My Experience
Last night I was playing basketball at the gym and accidentally stepped down too hard on the floor and got a pinch nerve. Therefore, it was impossible for me to move my head to the left without screeching with pain!
When I got home, I decided that I would take a shower and then go straight to sleep so the nerve would let go. Unfortunately, the next day I woke up and it was worse. So after changing, etc..., I decided to take an Advil Liqui-Gel.
I keep the pills in the open-up mirror. I took the a green pill with a glass of water. It was easy to swallow and had a soft outer layer. The inside was full with a green gel known as solubilized ibuprofen. I guess that the pill breaks after you swallow it which allows the gel to spread throughout the body and fight the pain.
Then I went to work, and didnt notice a difference. Actually, the pain got worse and I was checking passengers in with my neck tilted to the right a bit. Some passengers commented that I should see a doctor.
When I came home about seven hours later, I decided to take another pill hoping that it would get better this time. Yes! About 30 minutes later it kicked in and the pain was limited and I could turn my head to the right.
Safety
~Don't give to kids under 12 without permission from a doctor first
~Take one every 4-6 hours and don't take Avil Liqui-Gels if you have drinken three of more alchoholic drinks a day.
~Don't take more than directed
~Don't use the Advil Liqui-Gels in your last three months of pregnancy.
~If you are allergic to ibuprofen, do not take these. If you are allergic and do take them, you can suffer from asthma, shock, hives, and facial swelling.
Overall Thoughts
Advil Liqui-Gels are good, but not excellent. I am very happy that I took them. Of course, I had to suffer about seven hours, but the point is that the pain was gone! I really like that they are easy to swallow and that they arent too big. The prices are always fair and the pills are easy to find in a local pharmacy.
