Plastic degrades over time and holes appear.

Pros:Easy set-up. Comfortable. Can be stored in closet when not in use.
Cons:Holes, holes and more holes.

As others have noted, this bed is fine when it is working. It is easy to inflate and it is surprisingly comfortable for overnight guests. We placed ours on a stainless steel folding frame and it doubled very nicely as a temporary bed.

But then the holes started appearing and the bed was rendered useless. These holes always show up on the margins of the depressed "dimples" or "cells" that cover the sleeping surface. These can be patched with GOOP or another strong adhesive, but it seems that as soon as one is patched another developes. You find yourself worrying through the night about how the guests are doing.

The real frustration is that we did not use this bed that many times. It's well past its warranty so we either try to repair ir or we throw it out. I have read online that the mattress can be sprayed with an acrylic based paint that does a good job in reinforcing the plastic. I may give that a try next.
