Wife kick you out? Don't wan't to pay for a hotel when visiting someone w/o a guest bedroom? Aerobed is more comfortable then a couch, and more comfortable then a convertible sofa. (I pity you if you fell for the Jennifer Convertible sales pitch. Many have done so, including me, once. They only get you once.) Surprisingly comfortable overall. However, it does seem to have a different feel when sleeping on ones side, and to require a different inflation level. I sleep mainly on my back, but it seems to me that it would not be a good choice for people who go back and forth between side and back many times a night. Perhaps I'm wrong about this. Having read most of the reviews of this product, everyone seems to agree its pretty comfortable though. Aside from the vinyl, which although not horrible to sleep on directly if its not too hot, is still best to cover with a sheet. Its quite easy to use and very portable. Having read the other reviews though, I have some concerns about durability -- the jury is out for me on that one.
