Pros: Good, heavy material; quick inflate/deflate; comfortable
Cons: Valve problems/leaks
The Bottom Line: Would not recommend at this time. Would consider recommending if they ever developed a dependable air valve (which would seem a rather easy task for an air mattress company!)

| moobear50's Full Review: Aero Bed Portable Self-Inflating Bed |
We bought our Aero Travelbed about 1 1/2 years ago. Initially, we found it to be of good quality and quite comfortable, living up to its infomercial hype. Matter of fact, we found it so comfortable that it became our regular mattress. However, several weeks after purchase, we began having problems with keeping it inflated. (Unfortunately, we'd accidentally tossed out the purchase paperwork shortly after buying our Aerobed =0( so could not take advantage of the warranty.) Most times, it would lose about 1/3 its air overnight. We hung in there, because it was so comfortable, always topping off the air just before bedtime. Eventually, probably due to the extremely frequent reinflating, a small tab broke off the mattress' air valve and it would no longer hold air. A couple of months ago, when this happened, we did find a replacement valve through the Aerobed website. Normally it's a $10 charge but they were offering it for free, even if you had exceeded the warranty timeframe. (This seems to indicate that they've been having valve problems for some time.) Got our new valve, installed it, and STILL had the same problem; air leaking through the valve overnight. Not as bad but still a noticeable deflation overnight. We finally gave up and are back to a regular mattress again.
