| lensherr's Full Review: Aero Bed Portable Self-Inflating Bed |
My aerobed experience started 8 years ago when I bought their mattress topper from a TV infomercial. It was quite comfy and it lasted for a couple years. The first year I used it on the bed and it fixed some lower back pain that I had. The second year I used it to lay on in front of my TV. After a while it would leak too much air within 15 minutes so I threw it out. Years later I decided to get the 8-inch twin-size bed to watch TV on. Was very comfy, but after two weeks it started to leak from some unknown location and I had to get rid of it. Customer service was good and they shipped out another, but right out of the box that one has a pump defect and drastically leaks air through the pump the second I stop inflating; didn't get to lay on it even once! I'm calling them tomorrow to see if I can get a better replacement.
Also tried the 14-inch pillowtop model while they were sending out the first replacement (I didn't mind having a spare bed). That was comfy but leaked after two weeks as well.
