My Aerobed experience was similar to jessicamc4's experience (she commented right before me). I used it every night for about 2 months before it became a big mound on my box spring.
Since then, I got a Comfortaire and haven't had any problems during the last 7 months. I reviewed the Celenia.

I used the Deluxe Aero Bed on top of a box spring instead of a mattress. The stupid thing made a huge "bubble" that was very uncomfortable and would not go away. I even tried to puncture the bubble, let out excess air, and then patch the hole I made. That didn't work, but it did not make things worth.
I agree. What a worthless waste of time.
