| sweetsue_98's Full Review: Aero Raised Aerobed (Twin, Full, Queen) |
We bought a full size Aero Bed about two years ago, because we were going to go visit our son and his wife, and they didn't have a spare bed. The advertisements for this product led me to believe that you could have a decent night's sleep. This was far from the truth.
The bed was a double and the quality appeared just fine. It came with a special cover to go over the mattress to add a little extra padding. The real problem is that the bed itself is plastic, and no amount of covering will change the fact that you are sleeping on a synthetic bed. So be prepared for a hot and sweaty night's sleep on your Aero Bed.
I will give the bed the benefit of the doubt in that it is easy in inflate, as it comes with it's own little electric motor, and is ready to sleep on quickly. It is also simple to deflate, and comes in a nice tote which is easy to store. You can adjust the firmness by the amount of air that you put in it, but it does not get around the fact that you are going to be uncomfortable, plain and simple.
This mattress was used for four nights and never again. I would have sent it back to the company, but they wanted me to pay the return postage, and I decided it wasn't worth the trouble. This is a miserable product, and you shouldn't believe anything you see on the commercials. The only possible person that might be able to use this would be a child, and then they would want to sleep on a full size.
So, save your money. Don't buy and Aero Bed! Stay in a motel, and get a good night's sleep.
