I think every first aid kit should be equipped with After Bite. It is especially nice to have in the kit if you spend a lot of time outdoors, such as hunting, fishing or camping. I like After Bite so much because it works great. It helps relieve pain and itching from mosquito bites and other insects bites and stings. It will also relieve minor skin irritations. The After bite is so easy to use. Rub it gently on the bite or sting. Do make sure that if a bee would happen to bite you that you do remove the stinger first before applying the cream. If the itching does persist you can reapply as needed. I beleive I paid about $5 for a .5 fluid ounce tube of it. A little goes a long ways when applying this cream so a tube lasted me quite a while. I like to keep it in the camper for the nights, and keep a tube in the house for when my boyfriend goes raspberry picking. If he gets bit up by mosquitoes relief is in site as soon as the cream hits his skin. Do make sure that if redness occurs or swelling that you contact a doctor. They cream should make the bite feel better and it the pain worsens stop using the cream. I have been lucky and neither of these have ever happened to me when I used it or to when my boyfriend used it. You can use it for fleas and chiggers as well and even for black flies.
