I purchased this item when I saw it at the checkout at Walmart. With living on the water in the summer the mosquitos seem to rule the outdoors at night. We use plenty of repellant but one or two always seem to bite.
I like the fact that I can just rub a dab on it poof the itch goes away. I don't think I would use this product on young children for the fact that they might put it in their mouth.
The itch relief is fairly long about a hour or two. This is good. I would rather dab something on than have to take a OTC medicine to relieve the symptoms. There is usually a side effect from doing that. I have found only one side effect from this medicine. If you use the pen on a open sore it will sting to no end. So when you get bit don't itch use a dab or two.
I will continue to purchase this product for the summer and camping trips as I find it to be highly effective. I recommend this product to boaters,hikers,campers and those in spots where mosquitos are frequented. You won't be sorry you bought it. A little dab will do ya.
